## Install

### Linux and macOS

```
curl -fsSL https://zerolog.ch/zc/install.sh | sh
```

### Windows (PowerShell)

```
irm https://zerolog.ch/zc/install.ps1 | iex
```

### Then pair it with your account

```
zerolog login
```

The installer replaces an older copy where it finds one. The old command `zerocode` keeps working. Each release lists its SHA-256 sums in [checksums.txt](https://zerolog.ch/zc/checksums.txt).

Error reports: when the client crashes or a sign-in, connection or sync fails, it sends a technical report. It leaves out email and IP addresses, credentials, home-folder paths and exception messages. Set `ZEROLOG_TELEMETRIE=0` or `DO_NOT_TRACK=1` to turn it off.
