Allow Deny ## What it does - ### Eleven browser tools Navigate, read the page and its accessibility tree, find, scroll, click, type, press keys, read the console, take screenshots and work with tabs. - ### Asks per site A site it has not seen gets its own card, once per scheme and host. Your answer stays in the browser, and you can revoke it under Settings → Extension. - ### You set how much it asks Smart is the default: reading and navigation run on their own; clicks, typing, key presses and tab actions wait for you. Manual asks for everything, Always allow for nothing. - ### More than one browser Pair Chrome and Firefox and pick one in the panel. If one closes during a task, the work can go on in the other. - ### Files in the panel Up to 8 files and 24 MB per message, the same as the web chat. Replies stay in the chat you open in the web app. - ### Discuss a selection Right-click selected text and choose Discuss with ZeroLog. The text goes to the model as page content from its site, under that site's rule, not as an instruction. ## What it refuses, in every tier - ### No passwords, cards or codes It never types into a password, payment-card or one-time-code field. The check runs on the field itself; neither the server nor a page can switch it off. - ### Only http and https `javascript:`, `data:`, `file:` and `chrome://` are dead ends. - ### A deadline on every action 45 seconds, approval included. An unanswered request expires without running. A tab indicator shows the activity and lets you stop it. ## Where the page goes What a tool reads travels over an authenticated connection to ZeroLog and on to the model you picked in the panel. No other tab, no cookies, no stored passwords, no history. The tab list returns titles and addresses of open tabs and, on the default tier, waits for your click every time. The model's provider has its own policy, so choosing the model also chooses who reads the page. ## Install ### Chrome, Edge and Brave Chromium 116 or newer [Download for Chrome](https://zerolog.ch/downloads/zerolog-extension-chrome.zip) 1. Unzip the download into a folder you keep. 2. Open `chrome://extensions` and turn on Developer mode. 3. Click Load unpacked and pick the folder. 4. The setup page opens. Choose Connect with ZeroLog and confirm in your signed-in account, or connect with the short code from Settings → Extension. ### Firefox 140 or newer [Download for Firefox](https://zerolog.ch/downloads/zerolog-extension-firefox.zip) 1. Unzip the file. 2. Open `about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox`. 3. Click Load Temporary Add-on and pick `manifest.json` in the folder. 4. Open the ZeroLog panel and connect with the short code from Settings → Extension. Neither install is one click yet. Chrome installs extensions on its own only from the Web Store, so it stays a manual install. The Firefox build is not signed by Mozilla yet, so it stays loaded until you close Firefox. ## Connect the browser you want to use Install the build for your browser and pair it with ZeroLog. Review site permissions: a permitted page can contain private information that the selected model receives when read. Model choice also determines who processes that page content.
