# 28 September: billing during the provider pause 2026-09-28 · Pricing > Paid Stripe billing is paused while customer inference through Featherless is paused. This entry says what changes for subscriptions and invoices. Added on 23 October 2026 from the repository history. Live on 28 September at 14:12 UTC. ## New - Paid Stripe billing is paused for the length of the service pause and resumes afterwards. - Invoices that are already open are held and not retried during the pause. They are released when the pause ends. Invoices stopped by hand stay as they are. - A subscription that Stripe had already ended is recorded as ended when the pause starts. - Subscriptions that were unpaid or past due when the pause began get no extra trial time, and their plan expiry is not shifted. ## Fixed - Cancellations made during the pause are kept when billing resumes.
