The handover from the start screen to a conversation does slightly less browser work. An empty message box now uses its normal height without an extra measurement and height adjustment. Multiline drafts still grow as before. *The empty box needs less measuring; the full conversation stays rendered.* In five alternating production-build pairs on the same test machine, the median send transition changed from 264.0 to 228.9 ms and opening a chat from 1580.3 to 1531.4 ms. These are small, variable results from a CPU-throttled browser with software graphics, not a promise for every device or AI provider. All messages remain rendered and available to accessibility tools. Appearance, motion settings, focus and scrolling stay the same. No action is needed.
