# Updates to the Android app and site builder

2026-09-28 · Product

> ZeroLog for Android now sends push notifications without Google services. Free page blocks also get a TypeScript check before they are saved.

## Site builder

Blocks with unused bindings are skipped. This catches errors that would otherwise stop the site build.

The preview engine, which only admin accounts can opt into for now, now starts each build with a website brief: who the site is for, what visitors should do, which claims it can make and which pages it needs. Claims only count as facts when a source backs them; anything unverified is listed as an open question in the build report. The engine also looks up a few comparable public sites to pick up layout ideas, without copying them. Screenshots of those sites are not taken yet. The standard engine is unchanged.

Before the full build, the preview engine now compares each proposed design direction with earlier builds and with common template layouts. A direction that comes out too close is reworked, at most twice. The last 50 finished preview builds are kept as a design memory, so layouts that keep recurring are ranked lower. Deleting a project removes its entry.

## Android push notifications

The app can notify you when a reply or job finishes, an approval is waiting, or a new sign-in is detected. Notifications do not include chat text. Push can be turned off in the app settings; that choice applies to the whole account. The app uses ZeroLog’s own notification service and does not rely on Google push services.

## OpenRouter model availability

OpenRouter models that the provider no longer lists have been removed from the catalog. Known saved model selections are switched to Nemotron 3 Ultra, with a notice when the model changes.

Custom page blocks with missing or invalid links are now rejected before they are saved.

The home page now opens by saying what ZeroLog is: a persistent Linux workspace in the cloud with root access and AI agents, hosted in Switzerland. Old addresses ending in a slash or .html forward to the main page.
