First 5 minutes
Five steps, in order. Two build a chat, one builds a machine, and the fourth attaches the machine to the chat. The fifth is where the AI stops and asks you before it runs anything.
The interface starts in German. Every label has an English version: switch with the language button in the top bar, or under Settings → General → Language. This documentation quotes the English labels throughout, so switch first if you want them to match what you see.

01Request access
New accounts currently need an invitation. Write to info@zerolog.ch, use Request access (it opens an email), or join the waitlist. An administrator creates the account, so there is no public sign-up form yet. You then sign in on the sign-in page. An email address is optional; add or confirm it under Settings → Sign-in & security.
A confirmed address can receive password reset links ("Forgot password" on the sign-in page) and security alerts. Without one, you cannot reset your password by email. A passkey can also sign you in without the password.

02Start a chat
Choose a model shown in the picker, then ask it something. The picker shows the model's price and context length.

03Create a container
Open Compute and create a container. The default image is Linux with Ubuntu 24.04. Free accounts have no container; Mini and the larger plans do.

04Attach it to the chat
In the chat's Workspace panel, choose Link a workspace. Now the AI works inside that machine.

05Ask it to build something
The first command it wants to run stops and waits for your approval, unless it is on your list under Settings → AI → Allowed commands.
Check the price before you send. You can change models from the picker at any time.
