Suddenly the lights go out
The first question is always the same: is it just me, or everyone? You don't know your grid operator's outage page, your provider says nothing, and the news only has it an hour later.
We gather those reports in one place, sorted by region. Where we have no source, we say so instead of showing a green tick.

Reports from grid operators and the news, per region. Two independent sources turn a suspicion into a confirmed outage.

Status pages of the major providers plus IODA measurement signals. In Switzerland, Swisscom, Sunrise and Salt each on their own.
Your website
You only enter the address. We check every 5 minutes and report outages by webhook, ntfy, feed or email. There is also a badge for your site.
How it works
A Python program runs on Cloudflare Workers, triggered every 5 minutes. It fetches the sources, looks for fixed words in headlines and maps them to a region using a gazetteer.
There is no AI and no language model. Every classification follows a rule you can read on the methodology page.

What does it cost?
Nothing. sll-hosting.com and zerolog.ch cover the costs; in return their names are on every page.
Do I need an account?
No. For your own website you get a private link to change or delete it.
Does this replace official warnings?
No. We are not an official warning service. In an emergency, the authorities and your grid operator are what count.
What do you store about me?
Unless you submit a form, nothing beyond Cloudflare's access data. If you do, we keep your IP address only as a hash for the abuse limit, and an email address only once you confirm it.
