A plan buys a machine, model credit, or both.

Compute: the machine

A compute plan pays for the machine. You can add credit with a top-up. To pay for a machine and receive monthly credit together, choose a bundle.

The listed vCPU, RAM and disk figures are the standard per-container amounts. Your account has a separate resource quota, normally twice those amounts, to share across containers. On Max, one container may use a larger share while it is your account’s only container. The current limit appears in container setup.

Credit: the models

A credit plan is a standalone subscription: it adds credit at the start of every month for any model in the catalogue, while the machine stays at the Free size. It replaces a compute subscription. Choose a bundle to combine a compute plan with monthly credit.

Why credit costs more here than a top-up

It does, and by how much is worth naming: CHF 5.50 of credit costs CHF 5.90 on a plan, CHF 50.00 costs CHF 51.50. Topping up by hand carries only the 3 % currency buffer, so on the arithmetic alone the top-up wins.

What the plan buys is the route, not the rate. Topping up runs through MoonPay: a USD 20 floor, an ID check on every purchase, and a USDC wallet at the other end. A plan runs through Stripe on a card, with no floor and no crypto. That is why the markup is largest on Credit S, which sits below the floor and cannot be bought as a top-up at all, and smallest on Credit L, where both routes are open to you.

Changing plan

You can change plan size or type at any time. Stripe settles the part-month on your next invoice.

One at a time

An account holds one subscription. Moving between plans is a change, never a second purchase.

Cancel

Topped-up credit stays spendable. Remaining subscription credit expires 90 days after the last paid month.

Two meters

The meters stay separate: hardware never becomes credit, and credit never becomes a bigger machine. What a credit or bundle plan does is pay into the second meter on a schedule. Plan credit is spent before topped-up credit, and unused plan credit carries for three months.
