3 November: the app takes on the look of the start page

The signed-in app now uses the same near-black ground, Barlow type and hairlines as zerolog.ch. Colour shows up only as light: on the open chat, the message field and the send button.

User impact: Daily use

In the dark theme the signed-in app looks calmer and matches the start page. Features, texts and prices are unchanged. No action needed.

Until today the app wore a violet glass look of its own. It now follows the start page: a near-black ground, Barlow as the typeface, thin lines between areas and small mono labels for machine text such as model names.

Text version

App frame: flat sidebar and top bar split by hairlines, light only on the open chat, the ZL crystal as the mark. Chat: a prism edge on the message field, a light send button, code blocks with a language head. Pages: neutral cards, one shared set of colour tokens, a visible focus ring.

What you will notice

The sidebar, the top bar and the work area are no longer floating boxes. One line separates them. Only the chat you have open carries a thin prism edge and a soft glow.

Your own messages sit on a dark grey surface instead of a violet gradient. Code blocks show their language at the top, and the model name under each answer is a small label.

Settings, files, jobs, billing and the admin pages use the same neutral cards.

Access

Text keeps a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background. The focus ring now also shows in Windows high contrast mode, and wide code blocks can be scrolled with the keyboard.

What stays the same

The light theme, your own themes from the appearance settings and the start view with the large crystal are unchanged.

No feature, text or price changed.
