1 November: the Crystal look reaches every page

After the chat, the rest of the site and the app moved to the Crystal design: docs, legal pages, newsroom, access page, waitlist, jobs, files, billing and the admin overview.

User impact: Daily use

Almost every page of the site and the app looks different. Features, prices and plans are unchanged. No action needed.

On 1 November the Crystal design moved from the chat workspace to the other pages. The change is visual. What the pages do stayed the same.

Text version

Public pages: docs, legal pages with a contents rail, newsroom, 404, access page, waitlist and pairing consent. App pages: band, jobs, files, billing, onboarding, admin overview. Details: mobile navigation, a bounded error card, language follows the browser.

What you will see

The documentation has a reading layout. Each legal document has its own contents rail. The newsroom has a new index and article layout, and Newsroom is now linked after Docs in every shared header. The access page shows the plan cards, and the waitlist, its confirmation pages and the device pairing consent card use the same glass surfaces.

Inside the app the dashboard, jobs, files, billing, onboarding welcome page and the admin overview carry the same band and cards. The public headers have a mobile navigation.

Fixes on the way

The app language now follows a stored choice and otherwise the browser language (German for German browsers, English for anything else). Before, everyone without a stored choice got German. When settings or media fail to load, the app shows one error card with a retry button instead of raw error text. After a successful retry the focus returns to your workspace, and retry buttons have a 44 px target on phones.

The English access page lists plans in CHF only, and its billing note says what is true: plans are billed monthly or yearly in CHF.

Chat without a container

Also on 1 November: without an attached container the chat is a plain chat. It creates no throwaway sandbox and offers no sandbox tools, goal runs need an attached container, and present_file still works for inline content and attachments.

Prices, plans and terms did not change.
