3 November: ZeroLog Setup 0.2.1 without admin rights, web search works again, sharper chat start view
The Windows setup now installs for standard users, the chat can use web search again, the chat start view draws its fibres sharp, and the Firefox listing is linked.
Windows users without admin rights can now install ZeroLog Desktop, and chat web search works again. The rest is cosmetic. No action needed.
Four small changes went live on 3 November. The new brand lines have their own entry.
Text version
Desktop: ZeroLog Setup 0.2.1 installs without administrator rights. Chat: web search is offered to the model again, and the start view draws its fibres sharp. Pages: the start page title carries its category again, and the extension pages link the Firefox Add-ons listing.
Desktop setup 0.2.1
Setup 0.2.0 asked Windows for elevated rights, so standard users could not install it. Version 0.2.1 fixes that. We installed it end to end as a standard user on a Windows test machine: it writes only to the user part of the registry. The download page points to ZeroLog-Setup-0.2.1.exe, and 0.2.0 stays available.
Chat
Web search is configured again, but the tool still told the model that the platform had no search provider, so chat models skipped it. That text is corrected. The start view now draws its fibres as sharp lines at your screen resolution, and pulses travel along them. With reduced motion it shows one still frame.
Pages
The start page title carries the category again (AI workspace, KI-Arbeitsplatz in German), so the brand is not confused with the Go library of the same name. The extension pages now lead with the Firefox Add-ons listing. The signed and unsigned files remain as the direct route.
Prices, plans and terms did not change.
