8 November, third release: site banner and a durable mail queue
Admins can switch on a notice strip across public pages, and waitlist and preview mails are queued and retried.
Visitors see a notice strip only when an admin enables one. People who join the waitlist or request a preview get their mail more reliably, rarely twice. No action is needed.
Admins can now switch on a short notice strip across public pages, with an optional link and a time window. Nothing is shown unless a notice is enabled. You can dismiss it, and it comes back only when the notice changes.
Confirmation mails for the waitlist and notifications for preview requests now go into a queue and are retried automatically, up to six attempts, instead of being sent once during the request. A restart no longer loses them. In rare cases, when a provider accepted a mail but the acknowledgement was lost, a recipient may get the same mail twice. No action is needed.
