The waitlist stores your address only to manage your place

The new waitlist consent covers storing your email address and the confirmation email you request. The confirmation link is valid for 24 hours.

User impact: Targeted change

People who join or are on the waitlist: the new consent covers storage and the confirmation email only, the confirmation link lasts 24 hours, and invitations are not covered. No action is needed.

The waitlist form has a new consent text. It covers storing your email address and sending the confirmation email you request. It does not cover invitations, updates or marketing, and invitations are refused for entries made under it. Entries made earlier keep the consent they were given under.

Opening the link alone confirms nothing; you confirm on the page it leads to.

Opening the confirmation link shows a page where you confirm, and the removal link works the same way. Unconfirmed entries are removed at the next cleanup after seven days from your most recent submission. The form now checks its input more strictly and quietly ignores malformed requests. The privacy policy is at version 1.10.0 and describes all of this.

If you want out, write to the contact address or use the removal link in the email. No action is needed otherwise.
