ZeroCode for Android 1.17: Browser navigation and app discovery
ZeroCode for Android 1.17 adds direct browser tools, real-time app discovery, local APK installation, and automatic tool call fallback execution for open-source models.
Adds browser, package management, and APK installation tools alongside resilient tool call parsing on Android.
The Android client now includes tools to browse the web, search installed packages, and install apps directly from chats.
Browser and app management
The new open_browser tool opens web links and queries in the default phone browser. The updated manage_app tool handles package search, listings, and launches across installed software. Users can also install local APK files or open store listings through install_app.
Resilient tool calling
Open-source models sometimes print function calls as plain text rather than JSON wire structures. The server and mobile client now parse raw call snippets automatically, strip the tags from chat history, and execute actions immediately on the device.
System safety and onboarding
Settings navigation and background sync now handle missing intents and binary files without app crashes. The permission wizard covers all required tiers, including Shizuku shell access and background notifications.
