A pasted file is no longer left behind when you press Enter

If you pasted a long text and pressed Enter at once, the message could go out without the file. The chat now reads the attachments at the moment of sending.

User impact: Not reviewed

On 27 October a message went out with the words but without the pasted file. The text had become a file named pasted-text.md, and Enter came before the page had registered it. The file had to be sent a second time.

You paste FILE IS CREATED Long text becomes pasted-text.md It waits to be shown Enter, before FILE MISSING Send read the list the page had drawn so far The file was not in it Enter, now FILE GOES OUT Send reads the live list at the moment of sending File goes with the text FIX FOR PASTE THEN ENTER
The send step now reads the live list of attachments.
Text version

Before, sending used the list the page had drawn so far, so a file added a moment earlier could be missing. Now sending reads the live list, and the file goes out with the text. The same applies to the workbench.

The send step now takes the attachments from the live list, not from the last drawn page. Sending to the workbench uses the same list. A test checks that the send step reads the live attachment list.

Attachments in Deep Research and Ultracode runs are covered in the entry of 27 October on attachments.
