In the media: Let's Data Science on why hiding agent API keys is not enough
Let's Data Science published an interview with our founder about key placeholders, approvals and goal checks. The outlet did not test the service.
On 21 October 2026 Let's Data Science published "ZeroLog tells LDS why hiding an agent's API keys is not enough". It is an interview with Gian-Luca Luongo, the only developer of ZeroLog, and followed a press pitch we sent on 20 October.
Text version
The article covers placeholders instead of keys, a separate key service, approvals and the limits of each. Our docs describe the key proxy and the vault, which gained three states and passkey confirmation after the interview.
The article says that a hidden key still carries its permissions, and that the checks must sit outside the model. It also repeats the gaps we named: no external penetration test yet, no automatic failover of the application server, and no completed restore drill on real data.
Let's Data Science states that it did not test the service. For what the service does today, read the docs on the key proxy and the vault.
