4 November: scans, website changes and UltraSite runs now carry on through a server update

Security scans and their fixes, website revisions with the background polish, and UltraSite runs no longer start over when we update.

User impact: Targeted change

If you have a security scan or fix, a website change or an UltraSite run in progress, a ZeroLog update no longer restarts it. No action needed.

A server update used to cut off work that takes minutes or longer, and the job started over. Three kinds of jobs now carry on across an update.

Scans and fixes PENTEST run on, the automatic repairs too Website changes REVISIONS AND POLISH files already written are not edited twice UltraSite runs PAGE FAMILIES show the remaining time, no restart Server update RESULT all three carry on instead of starting over
Three kinds of long jobs and what an update does to them.

What carries on

Security scans (pentests) and their automatic fixes continue after an update instead of beginning again. Website changes (revisions) and the background polish continue as well; files that were already written are not edited twice. UltraSite runs and their page families carry on and show the remaining time instead of restarting.

Who notices

Anyone with a scan, a fix, a website change or an UltraSite run in progress while we update. There is nothing to do on your side. Prices, plans and terms did not change.
