4 November: updates no longer end app previews, and the tunnel service updates without dropping connections

A live preview of an app in your container, the one-click drive, SSH and ZeroLog Link stay connected during an update.

User impact: Daily use

If you watch a live preview of an app in your container, or use a one-click drive, SSH or ZeroLog Link, an update of ZeroLog no longer interrupts it. No action needed.

Two kinds of live connections used to break when we updated ZeroLog. They now stay up.

App preview LIVE VIEW of an app running in your container Drive and SSH ONE CLICK and ZeroLog Link connections Tunnel service UPDATES ITSELF without dropping connections Server update RESULT what you watch or use is not interrupted
Live connections and what an update does to them.

What carries on

The live preview of an app that runs in your container no longer ends during an update. The same holds for the one-click drive, SSH and ZeroLog Link connections. The tunnel service behind them now updates without dropping connections.

Who notices

Anyone who watches a preview or has a drive, SSH or ZeroLog Link connected while we update. No action is needed.
