Terms of Service 1.3: one inference provider

We are updating the Terms of Service from version 1.2 to version 1.3, and the Privacy Policy from version 1.6 to version 1.7. Both are on the legal page.

What changes in the Terms

§2, what the service is. AI chat for customer accounts now runs on one inference provider, Featherless (USA). The model picker shows only models Featherless serves. If Featherless fails, the request fails; it is not passed on to another provider. The text also covers your own accounts: if you sign Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI in your container into your own account with that vendor, that use runs under your contract with the vendor, at your cost.

§12.1, changes. No particular provider, model or number of models is promised. Two limits apply to a change of provider: before any prompt goes to a new provider, the Privacy Policy names it, with its country and the basis for the transfer; and credit you have already paid for stays usable on the models that remain.

When it applies to you

This notice is dated 27 September 2026. For an account that accepted an earlier version, version 1.3 takes effect 14 days after this notice, on 11 October 2026 (§12.2). Until then the version you accepted applies. A new account that accepts 1.3 at sign-up is bound by it from that moment.

If you do not accept version 1.3, stop using the service and request deletion of your account before 11 October 2026. Unused prepaid credit is refunded under §12.3.

What changes in the Privacy Policy

Section 5 now names Featherless as the recipient of your prompts, with the transfer basis and what is still missing, and adds Microsoft 365, which delivers mail to the optional account address. Providers that customer content no longer reaches are listed separately as the operator's own use.
