15 October: SSH to worker containers, Stop on long tool calls, Office files stay out of prompts

SSH reaches containers that run on worker nodes. Stop ends long tool calls at once, and Office files are no longer pasted into prompts as raw bytes.

Text version

Each workspace is a container. SSH reaches it through the gateway, also when the container runs on a worker node.

New

  • The search_models tool returns exact model ids for the models your account can use. An unknown id returns up to five suggestions.

Fixed

  • SSH into a container on a worker node failed. The gateway reaches those containers now, and the connection list updates when a container is created, moved or deleted.
  • Stop ends running tool calls at once. Before, a design build could run for minutes after Stop.
  • Office files such as .docx and files that look binary are no longer read into the prompt as text. The model gets the container path. A turn that ends with neither text nor tool calls shows a notice.
  • Attaching a shared box to another chat no longer restarts the box and cuts off a running command in the first chat.
  • Models that accept images through Featherless are recognised as such, and screenshots no longer fail with "no credit left".
