Swiss AI workspace

An AI workspace from Switzerland

ZeroLog is an AI workspace run from Switzerland. One account gives you a chat with tens of thousands of open-weight models, a Linux container with root access, and Claude Code or Codex on your own subscription. Chats, files and container disks are stored on a server in Seon (Aargau). Model requests are the exception: they go to the inference provider in the USA.

Closed preview. Accounts are opened on request.

# one account
chat: open-weight models, price shown per model
container: Linux with root, from the Mini plan
agents: Claude Code, Codex, ZeroLog Code
stored in: Seon (Aargau), Switzerland

What one account includes

  • Many models in one chat

The model picker lists the open-weight models that Featherless serves, tens of thousands of them. Each row shows the price per million tokens and the context length. You switch model in the middle of a conversation and the thread comes along.

  • A Linux machine of your own

From the Mini plan you get a container with root: Ubuntu 24.04, Debian 12 or Alpine. Packages and files stay across restarts and chats, and an agent can install, build and run services there. A command the AI wants to run waits for your approval first.

  • Your own Claude or ChatGPT plan

Claude Code and Codex run in your container and sign in with your own vendor account. The vendor bills you on your plan, and nothing is charged to your ZeroLog credit.

  • Prices you can read first

Plans with a container start at CHF 9 a month. Models are paid from prepaid credit at the provider's rate plus 2 %, and the price under each answer is what you are charged. With your own provider key there is no margin.

What stays in Switzerland and what does not

  • Stored in Switzerland

Chats, files and workspace disks are on the server in Seon (Aargau).

  • Sent to the USA

Prompts and attachments go to Featherless in the USA to produce an answer. Each answer shows whether zero data retention was enforced for that model, promised in general by the provider, or not guaranteed.

  • Sent under your own contract

If you sign Claude Code or Codex in with your own account, those prompts go to Anthropic or OpenAI under your contract with them.

How it differs from Swiss AI chat services

Search for a Swiss AI chat and you will find services such as Infomaniak Euria, Proton Lumo, Swisscom's AI offers, AlpineAI or aibox. They are built around a chat window. ZeroLog is built for people who also want a machine to work on: a container where an agent installs packages, runs tests and keeps your files, plus the coding CLIs you already pay for.

If you only need a private chat, one of those services may fit you better. If the model itself has to run in Switzerland, ZeroLog does not meet that today, because its model provider is in the USA. Check each service's own statement on where its models run.

Getting started

  1. Request access.

ZeroLog is in a closed preview, and accounts are opened on request.

  2. Pick a plan.

Take Mini or higher if you want a container. The pricing page lists what each plan includes.

  3. Choose a model or bring your own account.

Pick a model per chat, or sign Claude Code or Codex in under Settings, AI accounts.

  4. Give the agent a task in the container.

Approve its commands, or start a /goal run that keeps going after you close the tab.

Questions

  • Is ZeroLog a ChatGPT alternative?

Partly. The ZeroLog chat runs open-weight models such as Kimi K3, GLM or DeepSeek, not OpenAI's GPT models. If you already pay for ChatGPT, you can keep that plan and use it through Codex in your container.

  • Can I use many AI models with one account?

Yes. The picker lists tens of thousands of open-weight models with price and context length, and you switch per conversation. Claude and GPT models are not in the picker; for those you sign in your own account in Claude Code or Codex.

  • Does my data stay in Switzerland?

Chats, files and container disks do: they are stored in Seon (Aargau). Prompts and attachments go to the model provider Featherless in the USA, and each answer shows its retention status.

  • What does it cost?

Plans with a container start at CHF 9 a month. Model use is paid from prepaid credit at the provider's rate plus 2 %. Current prices are on the pricing page.

  • Who runs ZeroLog?

A sole proprietorship in Switzerland. The service is in a closed preview. Legal details are in the imprint, linked from every page.
