The Firefox extension is now signed by Mozilla

Firefox accepts version 0.3.1 of the extension because Mozilla signed it as an unlisted add-on.

User impact: Daily use

Firefox users must install the signed 0.3.1 file from the extension page, which needs Firefox 140 or newer and does not update itself.

Firefox rejected the unsigned package as "not verified". The extension page now offers a signed file for version 0.3.1, signed by Mozilla as an unlisted add-on.

The page shows the signed file only when it matches the current extension version. Otherwise the source download stays a developer preview. Install the signed file from the extension page. It needs Firefox 140 or newer and stays installed after a restart. It does not update itself, so a new version means installing the new signed file.
