A redesigned chat view and a first-time setup
The chat has a new start view and a context bar beside the conversation. Accounts that have not finished the setup are guided through it once.
The chat looks different, and if you have not finished the setup you are sent once per browser to a German-only setup screen that you can leave with «Später fortsetzen».
The start view greets you by your device's clock and offers cards for common tasks and for continuing earlier work. The circling tool icons from the start page appear here too, and they stand still if you have reduced motion switched on.
The context bar moved from above the conversation to the right-hand side. It shows your work environment, what is in this chat, outputs, tools and the model. It slides in and out and gives way to the preview column.
Work steps appear as a timeline in the history and in the live answer. Simple tool results sit inside their step instead of as separate lines. Touch targets are 44 px.
Every account that has not finished the setup, new or existing, is sent once per browser to a setup screen headed "Dein Workspace entsteht". It is in German only. "Später fortsetzen" takes you back to the chat, and you can continue later from the start view.
